These exercises should only be performed after evaluation by a qualified medical professional and under their instruction. Should you experience pain or discomfort while doing an exercise, stop immediately.
Securely attach a therapy band to the upper part of a leg of a chair or table. Securely attach the other elastic end of the therapy band to the middle of your left thigh. Stand perpendicularly to the waist-high chair or table and rest your right hand on it for support.
Next, lift your left knee to 90 degrees. Keeping your left thigh parallel to the floor, rotate your left hip inward and then slowly rotate it outward. As you rotate your left hip outward you'll feel the muscular contraction in the outside of your left thigh and hip. Relax and return to the starting position.
