These exercises should only be performed after evaluation by a qualified medical professional and under their instruction. Should you experience pain or discomfort while doing an exercise, stop immediately.
Sit comfortably in an upright position. Place a therapy band behind your shoulder blades and grasp one handle in each hand. Your hands are at chest level and your elbows are elevated to approximately 90 degrees. Press your hands forward, extending your elbows, so your arms become parallel to the floor. Be careful not to lock your elbows at the end of the motion. The therapy band provides resistance. You'll feel your chest muscles contracting. Relax and return to the starting position.
